I enjoy yoga at the office because it is convenient. I also find by practicing it in the work environment, you can relate the relaxation techniques to your daily job. After a stressful day I look forward to going to class to relax, take a deep breath and release the tension. I find that I am a better employee when I practice yoga, as I am better able to 'go with the flow', rather than waste time and energy in fighting changes. Especially in today's business environment, the pace is fast and ever changing.

I wanted to comment about the very positive impact the yoga program has had on my personal well-being. Although I am not new to fitness, I appreciate the different benefits that yoga personally provides me with as opposed to weight-training and traditional cardio methods such as cycling and running. I love the fact that regardless of the stressful day I have had, peace and serenity is just a few moments away from my office door in the boardroom!! It is wonderful to have this opportunity on site at work! The relaxation and focus on breathing is excellent and I have become much more aware of how my breathing affects my stress level and overall well-being.

Last but not least, you are a fantastic instructor! Your approach is motivating and inspirational and I can't thank you enough for helping me discover the benefits of yoga!

I'm very thankful to Veridian and you for introducing me to yoga. My Doctor says "You must work for a very progressive company to have Yoga in the workplace" - we are very fortunate. The yoga classes have made me feel stronger physically and mentally. I no longer have the aches and pains associated with long days at the computer and I'm much more aware of maintaining a healthy body. Yoga will always be a part of my life long after retirement.

I would first like to thank you for bringing yoga to our workplace. I was a bit unsure at first as I did not think I would be able to attain the level of relaxation I previously enjoyed from other yoga classes I've attended. Plus I wasn't entirely comfortable about participating in a yoga class with my co-workers and in the room where we hold our meetings it just didn't seem conducive to letting go of some of those stresses which we sometimes get from work.

Well, I was definitely wrong and very surprised. First, having classes right at the end of the work day is fantastic. One of the things I found difficult keeping up with my previous classes is that once I was home, it was very difficult for me to motivate myself to go back out and attend a yoga class especially in the winter.

The other wonderful surprise, is that practicing yoga with my coworkers is in fact empowering and once we start the class, I forget entirely that we're in a company meeting room.

I truly believe however, that the reason this has been a positive experience, is because of you, Sandra. I do not think for a moment that my experience could be as successful if someone else were providing the classes. Not only are you enthusiastic, you are also very attentive to our needs as a group and as individuals and provide a very supportive and safe environment for us.

Were do I begin Thanks to you - Yoga has truly changed my life, and with each class I continue to see and feel the benefits. I never thought I could have this kind of strength in my body! My mind is clearer, and I can focus better. And I know my Soul is more peaceful.


It is great to be able to do Yoga at work it is very convenient and so relaxing. I find sitting a desk all day makes me stiff and tight so going to Yoga helps to open up the body and focus on "me" after a long day at work. The Classes are timed perfectly. It is not hard to get to classes, AT ALL. Once you start going and realize the benefits of doing yoga. You will look forward to the next class.

Just a quick note of thanks for introducing me to Yoga, and for the excellent way you conducted the recent series of sessions conducted here at our offices. This was my first experience with Yoga and I am sold! I think much of that has to do with the style and structure of your instruction. One of the precepts of Yoga is to learn to relax. That has been a challenge for me many times in the past, given our busy work weeks. A scheduled session at the end of the day, right at work, has proven to be a perfect fit for me. I feel I have "taken up" yoga, and I really think my body and my mind are just a bit better off.

You may know that we have decided to ask you back for another series of sessions after the New Year and I look forward to that.

I was skeptical about taking yoga. I heard some things about it and I really didn't feel I would like it. I was wrong.

I have totally enjoyed taking yoga. My lower back pain has eased up in less than 10 weeks and I am somewhat more flexible than when I first started out. I have less migraine, in fact one class I suffered with a migraine, but by the end of class it was gone. I find that I sleep better (sometimes in the relaxation phase of the yoga class). I find that since taking yoga I feel less stressed and more alert. Yoga in fact has not only helped my physical being, but also my mental being.

The convenience of taking it through work is that at the end of the day, I just go into the boardroom, do yoga and then I'm able to go home. I don't need to get dressed an dog out again after I get home, I have done the exercise and then I am able to relax.

Thanks Sandra Dee, it has been quite a pleasure. Will see you next year in class.

I have always found it difficult to make time, let alone being able to find the energy after a long day to go to the gym and attend exercise classes. This is the first time I have ever done yoga on a consistent basis and by bringing the yoga classes to the work place has not only proved to be a convenience but I never realized how great I would feel after each and every yoga session. I highly recommend that everyone participate in this program because you will never regret it!

What a great idea to provide "Yoga at Work". It makes attending a class so convenient.

I have gained strength in my arms and legs and have improved my balance since I began the classes. I really enjoy the relaxation/breathing techniques you teach through Yoga which gives renewed strength and calm.

Your teaching style is very easy to follow and for those less flexible the adjustments to the "move" allow everyone to participate to the best of their ability.

The added benefit of holding the classes in the workplace is so convenient and the fact that you are with familiar faces and familiar surroundings helps you to relax and really enjoy the sessions. I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to your yoga class every week. I thought that yoga was strictly just for stretching your muscles and relaxing them, but I see now that it is more then that. You awaken and use every muscle group in your body and at the same time, challenge them. What makes me appreciate your class is learning how to use the muscles effectively, avoiding injury. I really enjoy the relaxation period at the end of the class and leave feeling completely refreshed. Thank you.
